We are FINALLY registered! : )
So I have FINALLY finished up our baby registry...talk about over-whelming. I still go back and edit things and I'm sure I will continue to do so. I'm just not sure on some things. I bought a book that I was recommended and read it all last night and this morning. It was very helpful and made me want to change a few more items. So anywho, Joe & I are registered at Target. Everything we registered for can be found in the store, although you can order online.
As time passes and Trent is growing more and more (although I still don't look pregnant, just like I have a beer belly), it's starting to hit me more that Joe and I will actually have a son in a few months. Hopefully this week we will get the crib if Joe and I can agree on one. So the nursery will start to look like a nursery and not just an "extra room". I can't thank everyone enough who has spoiled either Trent or I so far. We are truely grateful. I will have to take more pictures of everything he has so far. I have been buying quite a few outfits from Kohls and Old Navy because they have been having AMAZING sales (you know I love a bargain!). I just love baby clothes!! I can't wait to dress him up in all the adorable clothes!
Yesterday, as some of yo know, was my glucola test. I got to the doctor's office at 8am, right when they opened, eventhough my appointment as at 8:30am. I wanted to get there as soon as they opened so I could drink the drink, since my doctor doesn't give the drink out ahead of time. I didn't want to wait forever in the doctor's office. The nurse gave me the drink (I lucked out and got the fruit punch flavored drink and it wasn't bad at all) and I had it all down by 8:20am. The doctor listened to Trent's heartbeat and measured me. She said I look good and I'm right at where I'm supposed to be, even considering I'm barely showing. She said the reason I'm not showing as much is because I'm so tall and I have good stomach muscles. So that made me feel better. I was starting to worry since everyone was saying that I should be showing more. I'm happy though, because I don't have to worry about buying so many maternity clothes....yep I still fit in some of my regular clothes and one pair of regular jeans! : ) Anywho after she checked me out, I still had about an hour till the nurse could take my blood. So my mom and I (I asked her to come with me and be good company for the hour I had to wait) walked around the hospital. I've never seen the new wing of the hospital and WOW talk about it looking like a totally different hospital. My mom showed me where labor & delivery was. (I think tomorrow Joe & I are going to go tour it.) Then we sat down and watched the snow fall on the most comfortable chairs. By the time we got comfy and into our reading, it was time to leave and head back to the doctor's office. She took my blood and hopefully the results will come back just fine. I also booked all of my appointments from now until the middle of May. I'm now going every 2 weeks and around 30-33 weeks we will be able to get another songoram done. I'm excited about that because Trent will actually look like a baby then. I can't wait!! :)
Well that's all for now. I will write more later and maybe upload some new pictures of me and Trent's things. Take care! XOXO

Belly Picture...
So here it is the promised picture of my baby bump:
This was taken at 21 weeks and 3 days. I'm not huge, but Trent is definitely growing. I bought my first pair of maternity jeans yesterday at Old Navy, just so I have them when I need them. I need the "long" jeans and they are the only store I know that carries "longs". Since it's such a nice day today I decided to go through Trent's things and organize. I will take lots of pictures and update the blog on all the stuff Trent has received from friends and family. Today we got a beautiful bassinet from my SIL, Kimmie. I love it. I really wanted it so we could have it in our room so Trent will be close to me at first. That way I can feed him and all that right there, although I never thought about but Joe's snoring could keep him up. We will have to see. So enjoy the belly picture! Oh and I update the blog a little. I stole the background site from Julie, thanks girlie! I just needed a little more blue on the page now that we know the sex. Well take care and enjoy the game tonight! Until next time....

21 week update
So another update...the belly is growing! Joe says it looks like I just ate a big meal. That's his nice way of telling me I look fat! Thankfully most people who know me know that I am expecting, and for those that do not...yep they think I'm fat. But it's okay because one day soon enough I will be out of that "fat stage" and into the looking like a preggo stage. I'm still not in maternity clothes, although I tried out the Bella Band. It really isn't working for me, which means I am down to one pair of jeans that are oh-so comfy. I'm thinking that I need to go to Old Navy this week-end and buy some maternity jeans. I swear I will update this blog and my myspace with some belly pictures. I took one yesterday, hopefully I can update it this week-end. Luckily I haven't had any heartburn this week (knock on wood). I did call my doctor, after re-scheduling my appointment for the 4th time due to unexpected emergency surgeries (ugh...I know I can't complain, but come on 4 times I have had to re-schedule it. I haven't been seen since 12/23 and my next appointment is 2/11), to ask what strong medicine I can take for my heartburn. She told me to take Pepcid AC. So tomorrow I am off to Wal-Mart to stock up on it.
Well I'm more then half way there and can't wait till the end. It feels like it's going by so fast for me, but Joe says it's taking forever. I'm sure when it comes closer to my due date I will be the one complaining about how long it's taking. At least when Joe tells me it's taking so long, I know it's because he is so excited. He will make one awesome and amazing dad. Our son is so lucky!
So that's my update for now. I hope everyone has a great week-end. Enjoy the game and pig out! Until next time....XOXO

Long overdue update!
So I haven't updated this in a long time. I have been too busy sleeping-lol. I know that sounds sad, but it's totally true! I just haven't gotten my energy back. So since my last post, we have some BIG and EXCITING news...
Joe & I are so happy. I have lots of sonogram pictures (18 pics on a cd), I will upload them later on. Joe is excited to have a future hunting buddy, in other words his hunting days are no longer over-lol. We have agreed on a name. His name will be Trent Jonathan (Jonathan is after my dad, I have always wanted to name my son after my dad even before his passing). Joe & I agreed on a sports theme for his nursery, but right now I have no desire to get started on that quite yet.
My mom, Jen, and I went shopping on Saturday to Kohl's and they had a HUGE sale on baby clothes. My mom (Nana) bought Trent a lot of fall/winter clothes. I'm just sooo excited! Joe & I will have to register sometime soon, especially with my baby shower in March. I don't know exactly what we need yet, but I'm hoping by the time we are ready to register, we will have an idea of what we need. This is just all new to us.
I'm still not wearing maternity clothes yet, although my jeans are getting tighter and tighter. I tried on some maternity jeans and they just weren't cutting it. They were so low cut on me, I'm thinking I'm not ready for maternity jeans. So I went to Motherhood Maternity and bought a "Tummy Band" (some places call them "Bella Bands"). I'm hoping that will work for me. It's a band that I wear over the top of my jeans to cover up my button that is no longer buttoned and my zipper that I no longer want to zip up all the way. All I care about is my (and Trent's) comfort level. My next doctor's appointment is Jan 28th, but since my last appointment on Dec 23rd, I have only gained 3 pounds. I did weigh myself the other day on my mom's scale and it looks like I've gained 3 more pounds. So I'm not too worried about that.
Well I'm over my mom's house right now, she is sewing some things for Trent and we are having a "girl day". Until next time...take care! : )
PS- I promise to get the sonogram pics up, with maybe a belly picture (maybe) and I will update "Spoiling Trent" blog.

Good News! : )
So I never got the hear the heartbeat, but I got the BEST thing ever....see the baby! It was sooo awesome because now it actually looks human...no more blob! -lol My mom & I went to my appointment (which they are AWESOME there, I have to add). The tech asked me right away where my pain was (my Dr had put pelvic pain on her order so they would take me ASAP), I told her I didn't have any pain, but now I do because my bladder was so full. When she put the probe on me she said "oh my you do have a full bladder!" I told her I drank 32 ounces of water like it said, and she told me not to listen and next time just drink about 16 ounces. Hey that works for me! So after I emptied my bladder, we got to see Baby Hance moving around. It definitely liked to be on it's back, every time I moved to try to move the baby, it would go right back onto it's back. I was really hoping to find out the sex, even though I knew it was too early, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to try. She tried to look, but it was still too early. The baby was moving it's arms and legs everywhere. It was so awesome to see it. I just can't get over the 3D pictures. I have seen other people's pictures, but it's so different when it's YOUR baby. We also got to see the heart beating and boy was it beating away. She measure the BPM and it was 154....according to an Old Wives Tale that means I'm having a girl.....but I don't know. I don't trust those tales! So anyways, here are some sonogram pictures. Enjoy! : )
